Cyelee CAT EDG –
The Cyelee CAT EDG uses an RMSc / 407K / 507K-style footprint and is designed for smaller carry pistols while still offering the protection of a fully enclosed emitter. It features a 3 MOA red dot, rugged 7075-T6 aluminum construction, Shake Awake motion activation, a side-loading battery, multiple brightness settings, and an IPX7 waterproof rating.
One of the biggest advantages of an enclosed carry optic is keeping dirt, lint, dust, rain, and debris away from the emitter, which can be especially useful on a pistol carried every day. The CAT EDG aims to bring that enclosed-optic durability to the compact carry market without the premium price tag.
If you’re looking for an affordable RMSc enclosed red dot for a compact or subcompact pistol, the Cyelee CAT EDG offers a strong feature set for the money. In this video, I put it through its paces and see whether it deserves a place among the best budget enclosed carry optics.
