Loki’s jacket from Valhalla Tactical, what a great name! The beauty behind this jacket is the breakaway buttons that allow you to discreetly get to your firearms without drawing attention, my testing saved roughly 1 second from a traditional concealed carry draw.
My review on the MC-2C, the compact handgun from Mossberg. One of the nicer carry guns that that I knew very little about until this review. Mossberg nailed the optics system, used a good set of dove tailed steel sights, solid slide serrations, and a decent trigger.
In this review I put the Mira Safety CM-8M gas mask to the test and break down how it performs in real-world conditions. The CM-8M is designed for professionals and serious preppers, with features like a panoramic visor for a wide field of view, standard NATO 40mm filter compatibility, and an integrated speech diaphragm for clear communication.
I cover everything from the fit and seal quality, to how comfortable it feels during long wear, and whether the anti-fog lens system really works under stress. I also dive into filter options, durability of construction, and how it compares to other masks like the CM-6M.
If you’re considering a gas mask for survival, tactical, industrial, or emergency readiness, this breakdown will help you decide if the CM-8M is the right choice.
In this video I walk you through how the tragic Charlie Kirk incident made me rethink my everyday carry (EDC). We’ll cover what I changed, why I changed it, and how I evaluated the risks more realistically.
What you’ll learn: -The specific failings I noticed in my old EDC setup -New gear, organization, and tools I’ve incorporated -How I balanced responsiveness vs. everyday practicality -Lessons for situational awareness, threat assessment, and being mentally prepared
Why this matters: What happened with Charlie Kirk is a sobering reminder that public safety and personal protection aren’t just about “having gear” — they’re about mindset, planning, and real world limitations. If you carry daily, or you’re thinking about what to carry, it’s worth considering more than just what’s “cool” or “heavy duty.”
Important Notes / Disclaimers: -This is my perspective, based on my environment, resources, and level of training. What works for me might not be ideal for you. -Having gear is one thing; using it effectively (mindset, training, knowing your legal rights) is another. -I’m not a lawyer; this content isn’t legal advice.
Check out my full thoughts on the Springfield Prodigy 9mm — the modern double-stack take on the classic 1911 platform. In this video I dig into what makes it special, what to watch out for, and whether it lives up to the hype.
What I cover: -Specs: built around a forged steel/steel-frame slide, polymer grip module, optics-ready slide, and double-stack mags (17 + 20) -Barrel options: 4.25″ or 5″ “bull” match-grade barrels for improved accuracy and follow-ups. -Features: ambidextrous safety, fiber-optic front sight + U-notch rear, full-length guide rod, optics system (AOS), and a finish built to handle wear. -Pros & Cons: handling, recoil / muzzle flip, reliability, grip feel.
Final thoughts: who it’s best suited for — competition, range, or someone wanting high capacity with 1911 ergonomics.
Whether you’re a 1911 purist, competition shooter, or just love modern handgun engineering, let me know what you want to see next (accuracy test? match ammo comparison? suppressor use?).

My review on the 5.11 Skyweight Utility Chest Pack. A small but useful chest pack with a sturdy footprint and a ton of organization. Solid zippers, a compartment for a firearm, elastic loops to carry a magazine or flashlight, gusseted main storage pocket for easy access, and webbing on the bottom of the chest pack that I use to hold a tourniquet.
The Lynx Defense Concord Range Bag, the Concord is a large range bag with a ton of useful storage and adjustability. I hate range bags with empty space but this one makes use of all available space.
I recently headed down to Georgia to do something shooting and hang out with my homie HarleyWood, he is a fellow GunTuber that puts out some great content. Get to know him better by watching this 20 questions with HarleyWood video, then give him a follow with the links below.
The Mission First Tactical belly band holster, one of the nicer belly bands out of the 10+ brands I’ve tested. I like the breathable material, ambi pistol holster, zipper pockets that double as a cell phone pocket, and two pockets for a spare mag or flashlight.
Comparing two of the nicer LPVO’s currently available, the Nightforce Optics Atacr 1-8 to the Kahles K18i. Both are beautiful scopes with clear glass and a 1-8 magnification range but they do have some pros and cons.
