Let’s talk about some of the best holsters for the Icarus Precision P365 grips! Arguably one of the best features of the Sig Sauer P365 is the ability to swap the fire control unit from grip to grip, this allows you to customize the handgun exactly how you want. These grips from Icarus Precision is a perfect example of the modularity of the P365.
The best rifle light on the market, PERIOD! In my opinion Cloud Defensive makes the durable lights, the best beam pattern, and the most innovative rifle and handheld lights. I look forward to seeing what they do with the their pistol lights in the future.
The Riton Optics PRD2 red dot is a budget friendly RDS that takes a bottom mount cr2032, an auto adjusting brightness, a 40K hour battery life, and it works with the Holosun / RMR footprint. This affordable red dot held up well through hundreds of pistol and rifles rounds.
My review on the best high end EDC handgun, the Staccato C2 DUO. The only things I love more than 2011’s is gummy bears and Staccato 2011’s! This pistol might be the perfect pistol for EDC, home defense and range days. Great capacity, solid trigger, good safety, and it shoots amazing for a smaller handgun.
The Staccato C2 is quickly earning a reputation as one of the most precise and reliable compact 9mm pistols on the market. Designed for enthusiasts, competitive shooters, and concealed carry users alike, the C2 blends high performance, durability, and ergonomic design in a package that is both sleek and functional. In this in-depth review, we’ll explore why the Staccato C2 stands out in the crowded landscape of modern pistols.
Design and Build Quality
One of the first things you notice about the Staccato C2 is its premium construction. Built with machined steel slides and a high-strength aluminum alloy frame, the C2 feels solid in the hand without being excessively heavy. The dual recoil spring system minimizes muzzle flip, allowing for faster follow-up shots, while the grip ergonomics provide excellent control, even under rapid-fire conditions. The modular backstrap system ensures that shooters of all hand sizes can achieve a perfect fit.
Accuracy and Performance
Accuracy is where the Staccato C2 truly shines. With a tight trigger pull, crisp reset, and exceptional slide-to-frame fit, the pistol is remarkably consistent, even at longer ranges. The fixed sights offer fast target acquisition, while the optional optics-ready slide allows for easy mounting of red-dot sights, making it a competitive choice for practical shooting competitions. Shooters will appreciate the reduced recoil and smooth cycling, which makes rapid firing both controlled and comfortable.
Reliability and Maintenance
Reliability is a hallmark of the Staccato brand, and the C2 continues that tradition. The pistol performs flawlessly with a variety of 9mm ammunition, from standard target rounds to higher-pressure self-defense loads. Maintenance is straightforward thanks to its easy field-stripping design, allowing shooters to clean and inspect the firearm quickly. For concealed carry users, the compact footprint ensures that the C2 is easy to carry without sacrificing performance.
Competitive Edge
What sets the Staccato C2 apart from other compact 9mm pistols is its combination of competition-grade performance and everyday usability. Whether you’re looking for a reliable self-defense firearm or a competitive shooting tool, the C2 delivers. Its durable construction, exceptional accuracy, and modular design make it one of the top choices for anyone seeking a compact 9mm that doesn’t compromise on quality.
Conclusion
In summary, the Staccato C2 is a premium compact 9mm pistol that offers precision, reliability, and ergonomic excellence. Perfect for competitive shooters and everyday carry enthusiasts, it stands out for its accuracy, recoil management, and modularity. If you’re in the market for a high-quality compact pistol that delivers performance without compromise, the Staccato C2 should be at the top of your list.

Co-Witness or 1.93?
If your 12 o’clock optic (magnified or otherwise) is 1.93 height, go with 1.93 Rukh for sure. If your 12 o’clock optic is lower 1/3 co-witness, go with 1.93 Rukh. It typically aligns better. If your 12 o’clock optic is absolute co-witness, go with co-witness Rukh. UNLESS: You want a more up-right head position for CQB. 1.93 offset could speed up dot acquisition. You want improved situational awareness when switched to red dot. A taller offset keeps your eyes higher above bore, which means you can see past the 12 o’clock optic better. You have a large offset light or laser (e.g.MAWL) in front that could be blocking the view.
In this video we discuss the differences between a 45 degree off set red dot vs a piggyback red dot. Some of it is personal presence but they both have several pros and cons including night vision, gas mask and transitions.
New have a new build series, this time it is a Gen 5 Glock 17. I am not a huge fan of Glock pistols but they are reliable and have great aftermarket support, both of those factors make them a great candidate for a build series. Anyway, I need your help! What should we do to this pistol? I’m talking sights, optic, light, slide work, stipple, trigger, etc.
My review on my man purse, the Vertx SOCP Sling. This small sling has an adjustable strap, hidden compartments, able to accept the Benchmade SOCP dagger, and allows you to use your phone through a clear screen while still in the sling.
My review of the Sordin Supreme X Pro hearing protection, the best value for a high end set of ear pro. They are not as comfortable as the 3M Peltor Comtac but they are very close for less than half the price.
